The Best of Both: Posed + Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Those first days with a new baby are such a small window of time. They can feel tender, exhausting, beautiful, and a little blurry all at once. And before you know it, the tiny details begin to change.

At LovingBirths Collective, part of what we hope to do is connect families not only with education for birth, but with wonderful local professionals who can support and serve them throughout pregnancy and into life with a new baby.

That’s why we’re happy to introduce Caitlin Miranda, Atlanta photographer. With more than 10 years of experience photographing newborns, she has developed an approach that gives families something many don’t realize they can have: the beautiful, timeless newborn portraits they imagine alongside the natural, unscripted moments that tell the story of what life actually felt like in those first days.

We asked her to share a little about her approach and why she doesn’t believe families should have to choose between the two.
