Allowed to Birth Showing
A special birth-centered event is coming to Metro Atlanta this September.
Local midwives and a chiropractor are bringing Allowed to Birth: The Journey of a Global Midwife to Life University for a community screening.
This film explores physiological birth, maternal autonomy, and birth practices around the world through the journey of midwife Kristine Lauria. A live Q&A with Kristine will follow the screening.
This conversation is not only for birth professionals. It is for expecting families, those who hope to have children someday, and anyone who cares about how mothers are supported during birth.

New moms can be so focused on their new little ones that finding time for themselves can be tricky. Milton’s free Baby + Me Fitness Class gives a chance to build strength with their babies right there alongside them.
This free class is for moms with babies 6 weeks old through pre-walking 1-year-olds, the class welcomes all fitness levels. Professional partners from Monumental Physical Therapy and Performance will guide participants through exercises in a supportive environment.

Whether you’re a new parent or expecting, this event is designed to empower and support your feeding journey.
This informative session will cover breastfeeding and bottle feeding support, posture tips for nursing comfort, and more.
This group is led by IBCLC Haleigh Warbington alongside pediatric and prenatal chiropractors Dr. Sam and Dr. Mariah, creating a supportive space where you can ask questions, connect with other parents, and leave feeling encouraged.

Midwifery Skills Day
Hands on training day at the Atlanta Birth Center.
Lovingbirths Collective will be present and connecting with local midwives and midwives in training, making sure they have plenty of coffee and good eats!

Moms walk at Halcyon
Back by popular demand, we will be hosting another walk at the Halcyon on June 26th! Bring the kids in their carriers and/or strollers, and meet us in the Halcyon Greenspace as we strut into Summer together.
We’ll head to the Greenway for a 45ish minute walk starting around 10:10 AM, with a goal of being back on the Greenspace around 11 AM for mingling, shopping, and relaxing. Some exciting activations include:
PLN Alpharetta will be there after the walk with mini-protein shakes
Piggy Jo’s will have in-store discounts from 11AM-1 PM and snacks for kiddos
Willow Jane will have Southern Sparkle Fairy Hair pop up in their store from 11AM-2 PM. You can make a reservation for your child HERE but walk in’s welcome
