Hello! I’m so excited to be back to my roots here in the South after many years of moving across the country as we built our family and followed my husband’s career. We feel blessed to have called beautiful Alpharetta home for the past seven years and, God willing, intend to stay put. We have four children and recently welcomed our first grandbaby to the family. I couldn’t be more excited about bringing my childbirth classes to the community I love.
My journey into childbirth education began over 20 years ago after completing my undergraduate degree in Nursing and earning my RN licensure. While raising and homeschooling our children, I became increasingly passionate about helping women prepare not only physically, but mentally and emotionally for birth. Starting from a strong medical foundation and a love for research, anatomy, and physiology, I began to see what was often missing in maternity care—true preparation that helped women feel calm, informed, and ready for a natural, low-intervention birth. Working closely with local home birth midwives and eventually supporting families preparing for hospital births as well, I’ve helped many women prepare for positive birth experiences and avoid unnecessary interventions.
Like many women, my own four births varied greatly - from hospital birth to birth center to home birth. Through my educational training, experiences, and over 10 years of teaching -
I’m passionately committed to empowering woman with the truth about their own strength and the beautiful design of our bodies. Birth is not something to fear, but something to prepare for, because a well prepared birth changes everything.
It would be my honor to walk alongside you through this season—whether you are preparing for your first baby, hoping for a different experience, planning a home birth, or preparing for birth in the hospital setting. I’m here to support you. Whether you learn with me or another childbirth educator, choose a preparation approach that is evidence-based and rooted in consistent practice until the techniques become your own. That is when you are truly well prepared.
Reach out to me anytime. I’m here for you.
