Lots of actual practice. We don't just talk about breathing, relaxation, comfort techniques, and birth positions. We practice them together so these skills begin to feel familiar before labor starts.
Birth partner preparation throughout the day. Your support person will learn how to provide physical and emotional support, help protect your labor environment, recognize what you need, and confidently support and advocate for you.
A 30-minute healthy lunch provided, along with a protein smoothie snack.

A community that can continue beyond class day. You'll be invited to join a private FaceBook group with the other families in your class, giving you a place to connect before class and stay in touch as pregnancies progress, babies arrive, and everyone moves into postpartum. Think of it as one small step toward building your village, with other families in the same season of life.
This is an intensive class, but the day is intentionally designed to be comfortable and enjoyable. You'll learn, move, practice, eat together, meet a valuable local provider, and leave with a much clearer understanding of birth and how the two of you can prepare for it together.
